It is quite known that there is an intimate relationship between reading literature and improving communication skills. English can be acquired in different ways. However, it could be refined through reading literary texts. Literature has many functions: esthetic and pragmatic functions are two essential factors that contribute to shaping and enhancing communication skills. They add to one's knowledge, and their professional and academic role in establishing positive communication is apparent. The prime aim of the study, the Effect of English on Communication Skills in English, is to identify how literature can affect English learners' speaking and writing abilities. Another focal point of the research is tracing the influence of literature on fostering communication skills utilized in cultural and social contexts. On the other hand, the study attempts to tackle the gap between handling literature and communication separately as tools for language acquisition. Additionally, the study tries to discern the convergent lines linking literature and communication in terms of the reciprocal relations between both of them. A theoretical literature review outlines the nature of this relationship, featuring some literary texts. The larger area of discussion analyzes some other pivotal quotations with relevance to the topic under study. The study shows a tenancy to incorporate more literary texts in education and everyday language.

The Role of Language in Shaping Literary Identity is a crucial topic of great interest among researchers and critics. It has occupied the foreground of academic study. With respect to modern English literature, the function of language is not merely confined to communication; it plays a vital role in shaping the identity of both the author and the text. Relevantly, language influences the way the writers draw character sketches in their literary works and how they tackle themes and narrative structures. The main objective of this research is to explore how language acts as a tool of expression to shape literary identity in the works of modern English literature. To relieve the task of academic research, some representative literary texts have been selectively chosen. Bearing in mind that some areas of research still need to be brought into the scope of literary discussion, the study focuses on comparing the works of different authors from a diverse range of backgrounds, genres, and cultural contexts within the English-speaking world in the modern times. The interactive relationship between language and literary identity is investigated; the study seeks to trace how language reflects and constructs the identities of writers and their narratives in the context of modernity. The research attempts an outline of literature review, illuminating the topic perspectives and highlighting the role of language in shaping literary identity. The study also adopts an analytical, comparative approach, supported with authenticated references and insights: selected texts are linguistically, contextually and thematically analyzed.The conclusion draws lines together, providing a deeper understanding of the intersection between language, identity, and literature in the contemporary world of English literature.

This comparative study explores the themes of identity and belonging in selected short stories of Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway is renowned for his straightforward writing and study of the nuanced feelings of people. The purpose of this research is to examine the representation of these themes throughout his works, with particular attention to the characters' problems with identity and quests for a place where they genuinely belong .Two short stories were chosen for this study: "The Old Man and the Sea" and "Hills Like White Elephants." Since the characters and situations in these stories are so varied, it is possible to analyze the themes in great detail. This study explores how Hemingway's characters wrestle with their identities in relation to societal expectations, personal experiences, and cultural origins through attentive reading and textual analysis. It also examines the idea of belonging in relation to how these characters interact with one another and their immediate environment. This study also takes into account Hemingway's personal experiences and how they affected the way he portrayed identity and belonging in his writing. Hemingway was renowned for drawing inspiration from his own experiences and frequently incorporating autobiographical themes into his stories. This study offers a deeper comprehension of Hemingway's viewpoint on these issues by studying the parallels between the author's life and his fictional stories.

Literary translation studies have contributed significantly to the progress of society by fostering intercultural contact and the sharing of ideas and values. This study examines how literary translation studies have affected the development of society, emphasizing how they have affected language, culture, politics, and identity. The study also looks at the difficulties that literary translators encounter when attempting to cross linguistic and cultural barriers, including concerns with power, representation, and authenticity. The final section of the study addresses the direction literary translation studies will take in an increasingly globalized society. Literary translations have made it possible for readers to access works of literature from other cultures and countries, which has helped to break down barriers and promote cross-cultural understanding. By reading literature from other cultures, people are exposed to different perspectives, values, and ideas, which can broaden their horizons and foster a greater appreciation for diversity. The study, analysis and transfer of literature from one language to another are all aspects of literary translation. It considers the setting, culture, and time and place of the original text.

William Cuthbert Falkner (the first spelling of his last name) Faulkner was born on25 September 1897 in New Albany, the USA in an antiquated southern family, conceived and raised in Oxford, Mississippi. His guardians, Murry Falkner, and Maud Butler Faulkner absolved him after his fatherly awesome granddad, William Clark Falkner, a brassy and sharp man. For the duration of his life, William Clark Falkner filled in as a railroad agent, lawmaker, officer, rancher, specialist, legal counselor and in the most recent years as the top of the line creator of The White Rose of Memphis. The wonder of the "Old Colonel," as about everybody named him, seemed expansive in the contemplations of William Clark Falkner's kids and grandchildren.
