Assistant Lecturer Hussam Ahmed Rammo
Assistant Lecturer Hussam Ahmed Ramo Mahmoud is a faculty member in the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies at the Technical Engineering College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, part of the Northern Technical University. He currently serves as the Head of the Media and Government Communication Division in the college. He is recognized as one of the active academic and administrative competencies, combining scientific expertise with leadership skills.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technologies from the Technical Engineering College – Mosul, Northern Technical University, Iraq, in 2006, and obtained his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering – Networks from Altinbas University, Turkey, in 2023. His academic and research interests focus on the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cybersecurity.
He teaches a variety of undergraduate courses, including Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Instruments and Measurements, Computer Networks, Information Theory, Microprocessors, and Digital Logic, reflecting his broad academic expertise and alignment with his specialization.
Mr. Hussam has published a scientific research paper presented at an international conference, participating in the International Conference on Engineering, Science, and Advanced Technology (ICESAT 2023). He maintains an active academic presence on platforms such as Google Scholar and ResearchGate, in addition to having an ORCID identifier, and continues to contribute to scientific research and academic development.
He has also participated in several scientific and preparatory committees and contributed to organizing conferences, seminars, and training workshops aimed at academic and professional development. Moreover, he plays a vital role in community service by supervising a student volunteer team affiliated with the college, which engages in community-oriented and humanitarian initiatives that promote social responsibility and civic engagement.
Through integrating technical knowledge with modern specializations and maintaining active involvement in academic and community activities, Assistant Lecturer Hussam Ahmed Ramo effectively contributes to advancing higher technical education and enhancing the Northern Technical University’s standing in innovation and academic excellence.
