The current research aims to diagnose the dimensions of lean leadership represented by (culture of improvement, self-development, qualification, Gemba, Hoshin Kanri) at the University of Dohuk, adopting the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data, and relying on the statistical program (SPSS, Var. 27) for Analyzing the data, which amounted to (153) respondents as a sample representing the administrative leadership in the organization under study, using statistical methods (percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and intensity of response), and a set of conclusions were reached that confirm the availability of these dimensions at varying levels in the researched organization, in addition to presenting proposals, the most important of which is the need to pay attention to adopting lean leadership in the dimensions most expressed in order to achieve the organization’s desired goals.

The current study aims to diagnose the dimensions of knowledge accumulation represented by (data analysis, continuous improvement, knowledge absorption, knowledge sharing and knowledge integration) at the Northern Technical University and its formations in Nineveh Governorate. To indicate the availability of the dimensions of knowledge accumulation among the faculty and administrative leaders at the above university, the study adopted the analytical descriptive approach. The study included a sample of (221) lecturers and administrative leaders, The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, and the data was analyzed by the statistical program (SPSS,V.26) using statistical methods (percentage, mean, standard deviation, intensity of response and coefficient of variation), The results showed the availability of dimensions of knowledge accumulation in the researched organization, and the study presented a set of proposals, the most important of which is the need to increase the awareness of teachers in the process of acquiring new knowledge and merging it with their current knowledge to increase experiences and skills.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between knowledge accumulation and human resource management practices in Northern Technical University in Iraq. Theoretical framework: The knowledge accumulation represented by its dimensions (data analysis, continuous improvement, knowledge absorption, knowledge sharing and knowledge integration) as an independent variable and human resource management practices with its dimensions (human resource planning, recruitment, training and development, compensation and incentives and performance evaluation), as an dependent variable. Design/methodology/approach: In this study; We analyzed by used a quantitative approach, and 221 administrative leaders were selected as a sample and given a questionnaire. The SPSS, Ver.26 and AMOS, Ver.24 software was used to examine the data that were obtained from the questionnaire. Finding: The results showed that there is a significant correlation between knowledge accumulation and human resource management practices, in addition, there is a significant effect of accumulation knowledge on practices of human resource management. Research, Practical & Social implications: Overall, it was shown that the Northern Technical University and its formations in Nineveh Governorate is benefiting from the adopting human resources management practices by the impact of knowledge accumulation. Originality/value: Our current study attempts to bridge the research gap in the literature review about the relationship between human resources management practices and knowledge accumulation, and that the originality in the research comes from the application of these variables in the Northern Technical University and its formations in Nineveh Governorate. )353( The Impact of the Ethical Behavior of the Administrative Leadership on the Application of Green Practices for Human Resource Management An exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of administrative leaders at the Northern Technical University and its formations in Nineveh Governorate Abstract The current study aimed to reveal the role of the ethical behavior of administrative leadership in the application of green practices for human resources management at the Northern Technical University and its formations in Nineveh Governorate. Human resources as an approved variable represented by (green employment, green training, green performance evaluation and green incentives and rewards), In an attempt to address a research problem that is, “Do administrative leaders adopt ethical behavior in the organization in question to apply green practices for human resource management in terms of its aforementioned dimensions, and the current study adopted a questionnaire form as a method for collecting data and information that was distributed to a sample of (115) respondents from senior and middle administrative leaders In the organization under study, the data was analyzed based on descriptive and analytical statistical methods within the statistical program (SPSS, Ver24), The study reached several conclusions that confirmed that the leaders of the organization in question had a clear perception and understanding of the dimensions that express both the ethical behavior of administrative leadership and green practices of human resource management, in addition to the contribution of ethical behavior of administrative leadership to green practices of human resource management, The study concluded its endeavor with a number of proposals, the most important of which is the need to work to enhance the possession of the leaders of the organization in question of the dimensions that express the ethical behavior of administrative leadership, represented by (integrity, justice, clarifying roles and power-sharing) and working to encourage and develop the leaders of the organization in question to apply green practices for human resource management represented by (employment Green, Green Training, Green Performance Appraisal, Green Incentives and Rewards.

The current research aims to diagnose grievance management with the expressed dimensions of (good listening to complaints, ability to deal with workers’ divergent opinions, pointing out points of negative excitement among workers, and developing serious treatments for workers’ suffering and complaints) among the leaders of Kirkuk University, and the questionnaire was adopted as a main tool for collecting the data, and the statistical program (SPSS) was relied on for the purpose of analyzing the data collected from a sample of (128) respondents from the senior and middle administrative leaders in the field investigated, through several descriptive and analytical statistical methods, and in light of the statistical results, a set of conclusions was reached that confirm on the availability of these dimensions and at high levels among the leaders of the organizations in question, the research presented a set of proposals that emphasize the need to enhance the possession of these dimensions and work to adopt them by the leaders of the organization in question in order to achieve the goals of their organization.

The aim associated with this article is to examine the impact of knowledge and human resource management on the economic growth of Arab countries. The knowledge management is one of the aspects of the world economy, which contributes significantly to the advancement of economic development in the world, knowing that the Arab countries are suffering from delays in this area, so the problem of research was the delay of the Arab countries from keeping up with the development in the field of knowledge management. The research sample is represented by the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. STATA was used to check the hypotheses with the help of the Generalized Method of Movement (GMM), and Robust Standard Error approaches. The results show that knowledge management and human resource management have a significant role in achieving their economic goals. These results are helpful for the policymakers while formulating policies related to knowledge management that enhance the economy of the country.

A Review in Particle Image Velocimetry Techniques (Developments and Applications)

The latest entrant into the fluid flow measurement field is the particle image velocimetry (PIV) which offers velocity field immediately in flow domains. Referring to the definition, the placement is recorded by PIV over time pertaining to small tracer particles that were released in the flow for local fluid velocity extraction. Thus, PIV can be regarded as a quantitative extension pertaining to visualisation techniques for qualitative flow being practiced for a number of decades. This review provides a detailed background pertaining to evolution of PIV, principle of operation, basic elements, key features, uncertainty, errors in PIV as well as few applications of PIV. Recent advances pertaining to the PIV technique have been aimed at procuring all three components with regards to fluid velocity vectors simultaneously in a volume or in a plane that enables wider applications with the PIV technique for investigating more complex flow phenomena. In recent years, developing of various advanced PIV techniques have been successfully achieved, including three-dimensional (3D) particletracking velocimetry (3D-PTV), tomographic PIV, holographic PIV (HPIV) technique and stereo PIV (SPIV). A comparison has been done between the main PIV techniques. The purpose lined with this study is to examine the links among the human resource practices along with transformational leadership, gender and leadership traits. The data were collected from the financial institutions of Iraq and analyzed by using the SEM. The results show that positive association among the human resource practices along with transformational leadership, gender and leadership traits. These findings are suitable for the employees of financial institutions along with the policymakers that they should develop the policies related to the practices of human resource that enhance firm performance.

LEADERSHIP TRAITS AND TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP: MODERATING ROLE OF MASCULINITY VS FEMININITY IN IRAQI BANKS

Preceding studies have constantly paid attention on the relationship between Transformational Leadership (TL) and either human resource management (HRM) practices or masculinity vs femininity. Though, these studies paid little attention to relationship leadership traits between TL style and masculinity vs femininity. The tentative verification concerning this link remained missing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the link between masculinity/femininity, leadership traits, and TL style. This study provides practical support of the relationship between leadership traits and TL style; by introducing masculinity/femininity as a moderator. A survey was conducted on 417 employees from ten public banks in Iraq. The outcomes prove that masculinity/femininity played a moderating role between the relationship of leadership traits and TL style.

Previous studies have consistently focused on the relationship between Transformational Leadership (TL) and either human resource management (HRM) practices or masculinity vs femininity as an example. However, these studies paid little attention to relationship leadership traits between TL style and (HRM) practices. The experimental proof regarding this link remained absent. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the link between leadership traits, TL style, and HRM practices; including employee participation, supervision, structure, and training. This study provides empirical evidence of the relationship between leadership traits and TL style; by introducing selected HRM practices as a mediator. A survey was conducted on 417 employees from ten public banks in Iraq. The results show that HRM practices (i.e., participation, indirect supervision, informal structure, and general training) play partially mediate the relationship.

Many studies have concluded that gender can influence transformational leadership and leadership traits and that gender has a positive impact on transformational leadership and leadership traits. Studies have also found that there are gender differences between male and female. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the link between gender, leadership traits and transformational leadership. This review explores the relationship as viewed from Human Resource Management Strategy (HRMS). Empirical evidence regarding this link is still lacking; therefore, this paper discusses the impacts of gender as a moderator in the relationship. Finally, a conceptual model and appropriate methodology are proposed.
