My research focuses on Nanocoatings for biomaterials, particularly orthopedic alloys. I pursued my PhD studies at the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy, University of Technology (UOT), Baghdad, Iraq, from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, I was awarded a scholarship to the University of Missouri, Columbia (MU), USA, where I conducted my PhD research work at the Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute (NCF) and the Electron Microscopy Core Facility (ECF). Additionally, I carried out part of my research at the Materials Research and Characterization Center (MRC), Missouri University of Science and Technology.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Technology- Iraq, after completing my research at the University of Missouri–Columbia in the United States. My research focused on nano-coatings for biomaterials applications.

I was awarded the academic title of Assistant Professor in 2016, and promoted to Full Professor in 2021. I have been actively engaged in teaching since 2007, and I continue to contribute to the advancement of science and the education of students. I have published numerous research papers in the aforementioned fields.
