Official Overview – Master’s Program in Zoology (Parasitology and Molecular Biology)
College of Science – University of Tikrit
The Master’s program in Zoology with a specialization in Parasitology, offered by the Department of Biology at the College of Science, University of Tikrit, is an advanced academic program designed to prepare highly qualified researchers in the fields of animal parasitology and molecular biology. The program focuses on developing in-depth scientific understanding of host-parasite interactions, parasitic diseases, and modern diagnostic and preventive techniques, including molecular approaches.
The curriculum includes advanced coursework in Parasitology, Animal Physiology, Histology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Molecular Diagnostic Techniques, Biostatistics, Computer Applications, and Scientific Research Methods, in addition to intensive laboratory and field training. Students are also required to complete a research project (Master’s thesis) that often integrates parasitology and molecular biology—for example, molecular-level parasite identification, strain analysis, or detection using PCR and advanced biotechnological methods.

Bachelor
Sep 1, 2007 - Jun 30, 2011

Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences – College of Science, University of Mosul
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from the College of Science – University of Mosul, where I gained comprehensive knowledge in microbiology, zoology, botany, molecular biology, parasitology, and environmental science. My academic program involved an in-depth study of living organisms at the cellular, tissue, and organ levels, with specialized courses in genetics, human and animal physiology, biochemistry, and scientific data analysis.

Throughout my studies, I developed proficiency in advanced laboratory techniques such as DNA analysis, microscopy, PCR techniques, and bioinformatics. I also gained practical experience in scientific research, allowing me to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and write detailed scientific reports.
