The Horticulture Department & Landscape Design/College of Agriculture at the University of Mosul conducted the study in two cultivation systems (unheated plastic house and open field) connected to the fields to examine the effects of using the liquid nutrient (Nektafol) at concentrations (0,2,4,6 mlL-1) on the vegetative growth characteristics, quantitative and qualitative yield of plants of lettuce (Quantum variety). Three replications of the experiment were used, and the averages were compared using Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level of probability. The experiment was conducted utilizing split. Plot. System. with R.C.B.D. Design. The characteristics of vegetative development and the quantitative and qualitative yield can be summed up as follows: When compared to plants grown under plastic house, plants that were grown in a field in the open. were significantly better in most of the studied characteristics. It was found that using the liquid nutrient Nektafol at two concentrations of 4 and 6ml L-1 significantly improved the qualities of vegetative growth and the total yield of heads of lettuce, as well as the qualities under open field and plastic house.

Research was conducted at the vegetable field of the University of Mosul's Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering (in the College of Agriculture and Forestry) (2021). The experiment included a study of three factors, the first of which was the use of three different bean sprout cultivars (Spanish, American, and Dutch), the second of which was the condition of apical pinching (apical pinching and without pinching), and the third of which was the use of copper Nano-fertilizer at three different concentrations (zero, one, and 1.5 gm L-1) (2 x 3 x 3). Field research was conducted utilizing a factorial experiment with split-plots in R.C.B.D. Varieties were planted in the main plots, and the correlation between pinching and copper Nano-fertilizer concentrations was observed in the sub-plots. The Duncan multiple range test was used to compare the means of the groups, and a significance threshold of 5% was used for the study. Here's a rundown of the A- The significant effect of the plants of the three cultivars varied in the characteristics of the vegetative growth, as the plants of the Spanish and American cultivars were significantly superior in plant height and percentage of dry matter, while the plants of the Dutch and Spanish cultivars excelled in the number of branches, while no significant differences were observed between the cultivars in terms of chlorophyll and leaf area. B- The treatment of apical pinching excelled in terms of the number of branches and leaf area compared to the treatment of not pinching. C- The use of copper Nano-fertilizer in two concentrations resulted in significant effects on all vegetative growth traits compared to comparison plants. D- Most of the effects of the binary and triple interaction of the studied factors were consistent with the single effect of each factor for most of the previous characteristics.

The study was Fadhiliya area (2021). The experiment included a study of three factors, the first of which was the use of three different bean sprout cultivars (Spanish, American, and Dutch), the second of which was the condition of apical pinching (apical pinching and without pinching), and the third of which was the use of copper Nano-fertilizer at three different concentrations (zero, 1, and 1.5 milligrams per liter), for a total of 18 (treatments) (2 x 3 x 3). Research was conducted in the field using a factorial experiment with split-plots in R.C.B.D. Varieties were planted in the main plots, and the correlation between pinching and copper Nano-fertilizer concentrations was observed in the sub-plots. The Duncan multiple range test, with a 5% significance level, was used to analyze the data and compare the means. This is how the findings add up: A- Dutch cultivar plants were significantly superior in the number of pods, while the plants of the American cultivar were superior in the yield of pods , while the Spanish and American cultivars were superior in the characteristic of pod weight and length of the pod. B- The treatment of apical pinching excelled in all the studied traits compared to the treatment of no pinching. C- The use of copper Nano-fertilizer at two concentrations of 1 and 1.5 g L-1 resulted in significant effects on all the studied traits compared to the comparison plants. D- Most of the effects of the binary and triple interactions of the studied factors were consistent with the single effect of each factor for most of the previous characteristics.

The experiment was carried out in the educational nursery field of Department of Plant Production Technologies / Mosul Technical Institute during the agricultural season 2019-2020, to study two factors; the first is studying the effect of three depths, 5 cm (T1), 10 cm (T2) and 15 cm (T3), using Subsurface Drip Irrigation (SDI) The second factor is studying two types of sandy and silty loam soil on the soil moisture content and on some characteristics of the vegetative growth and yield of radish plants. The results show that the best depth of subsurface irrigation pipes was at treatment T3 (15 cm), where the highest values of moisture content at treatment T3, and the percentage of increase of the humidity before and after irrigation when the treatment (T1, T2, T3) is (10%, 12%, 16.3%) for the silty loam soil. As for sandy soils, it is shown that the percentage increase of moisture before and after irrigation when the treatment (T1, T2, T3) is ( 11.6%, 16%, 22.9%); meaning that the highest increase of moisture content is at Treatment T3, and this is due to evaporation from the ground surface decreases as the depth of wet soil increases, as well as the depth of 15 cm provides a direct connection of water to the plant root area, and the results show that the best depth is for subsurface irrigation pipes 15 cm, i.e. treatment T3 in terms root weight and diameter root, plant height, leaves number, and total yield.

Abstract The experiment was carried out at the field of During the growing season of 2010 – 2011. The aim was to study the effect of humic acid with threes concentration (0, 2.5 and 5 ml/litter) and two transplanting container size (7 , 10 cm) and the interaction treatments growth , quantity and quality yield of cabbage, The experiment design was arranged according to R.C.B.D with three replicates The results showed that adding humic acid with 5 ml/Litter caused significant increase in the growth parameters (the number of external leaves, chlorophyll percentage , leaf area , the Fresh weight for external and internal leaf , the percentage of dry matter for internal leaves). Meanwhile the big size of transplanting container caused a significant increase in the percentage of dry matter in the external leaves. The interaction treatment between the addition of humic acid with 5 ml/Litter and the big transplanting container size caused the best growth in the leaves , roots and added the highest production 34.23 T/hea.
