Throughout Prof. Ahmed's career life, he has graduated with an Bachelor degree from the college of science / physics in 1997. He received a master's degree in 1999 from University of Mosul, , starting his career in the technical engineering college / Kirkuk in 2000 as a faculty member. In 2000, His job progression allowed him to be the electronic and control department coordinator He enrolled in a Ph. D program in astronomy and space in 2002 at Baghdad university. In 2010 he was assigned to be the coordinator of scientific affairs. As well as the coordinator of the surveying department from 2011 to 2013. He was also appointed as Vice Dean for the post graduate and scientific affairs in 2018, so, he was responsible for TCK educational Plan. He currently is a member of the AIU since 2021.
