Abbas Mohammed Noori received the B.Sc. degree in Geomatics Engineering from the Technical Engineering College of Kirkuk at Northern Technical University (NTU), Iraq, and the M.Sc. degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He obtained his PhD in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Technology, Iraq. He is currently a Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow at Northern Technical University. He has more than 11 years of teaching, research, and industrial experience, and has published several research articles in refereed technical journals. His areas of expertise include Geomatics, Remote Sensing, GIS applications, soft computing techniques, and environmental-related problems.
