Objective: Detection the level of YKL-40 biochemical marker and vitamin D level in sera of Iraqi uterine cancer females' patients. Methodology: This study included 90 female volunteers, 30 of them were healthy volunteers who were considered as a control group, while sixty serum samples were collected from women patients suffering from uterine tumors (30 malignant and 30 fibroid benign tumors), benign cases were considered as a disease control group for malignant tumors. The average age of those females was 30-75 years, which matched the control group. All the samples were collected from Azady hospital in Kirkuk and the gynecologic department at Medical City in Baghdad during October /2012 to May /2013. All the serum samples were undergone biochemical estimation for the levels of YKL-40, and 25 (OH) vitamin D using ELISA technique, and BMI data were collected. Results: Estimation of YKL-40 levels showed that there were 28 No. (93.33%) of EC patients had high level of YKL-40, while 26 no. (86.67%) of fibroid (benign tumor) patients had low level, and 15(50.00 %) of healthy control had low. There was a significant difference found in YKL-40 level in EC patients when compared with the fibroid (benign tumor) patients and healthy control (Pvalue= 0.0001), (Pvalue= 0.0001) respectively. The highest percent of women with EC and the women with fibroid (benign tumor) had deficiency of 25 (OH) vitamin D levels (66.67%). While the highest percent of healthy control had sufficiency of 25(OH) vitamin D level (56.67%). statistically there was significant difference among study groups (p=0.0001). Were as no significant difference between EC patients and fibroid (benign tumor) patients (P-value =0.822). Recommendations: Comparing between the ykl-40 marker and other tumor marker diagnostic levels in the detection of uterine tumors. For further studies, we recommended study the diagnostic levels of ykl-40 marker and its correlation with other body tumors. It is recommended to do estimation of vitamin D levels with more advanced method and correlation of its with disease.

The present study aims to investigate the effect of treatment with vaginal aspirin suppositoriesi(Aspirin), with two deferent concentration on the pregnancy outcome and the proportion of the sex ratio and some reproductve parameters such as the thickness of the lining of the uterus in female mice. Guarantee the experimentali work, the division (30) female mouse (10-12) a week and weight (32-52) grams in to three groups (10 mature females mice/group) including one group as control depending on different doses of aspirin suppositories (0.5 mg / kg, 1 mg / kg) and the administration period for 6 Day. The parameters were evaluated include, the study of pregnancy outcome, sex ratio, and histological changes in the uterus endometrial thickness using the pigments (hematoxyline and eosin stains). The results of the current study, a significant improvement (P <0.05) in the studied reproductive parameters using both of doses (0.5 mg / kg, 1 mg / kg) compared with the control group as: ( pregnancy outcome, sex ratio, and histological changes in the endometrial thickness. The results of vaginal dosing for the female mice also showed improvement in the standards mentioned above use high dose(1 mg / kg) of the same drug compared to vaginal delivery of low dose and control group. Therefore, it was concluded that the vaginal supplementation of aspirin probably has important role on the fertility and reproductive parameters and reduce the side effect of aspirin drug in females mice. The present study showed clearly, an enhancement general numbers of embryos, as well as increases in male genders than control group.

from all repeated abortion conditions are unclear or attributed for some reason. This study was carried out in the Al Kirkuk general Hospital, from August to October 2017. A total of 148 females were screened for anti-sperm antibodies and anti-Rubella antibodies of IgM and IgG type by ELISA, 60 females were undergoing previous abortion(30 Pregnant + 30 Non-pregnant), and control group included 30 pregnant females without previous abortion, and 58 married without pregnancy. The results compared with their corresponding data and statistically analyzed, the revealed the following: The majorities 18(41.8%) of study groups with positive anti-rubella IgG were between the age (26-35) years old, while minority 10(7.1%) frequency of study groups with positive anti-rubella IgG were between the age (36-45) years old. The most of seropositive to anti-rubella IgG are from women whose non-pregnant but with previous abortion20(66.6%), Only 1(3.3%) of pregnant women with previous abortion and pregnant but without previous abortion had seropositive to anti-rubella IgM, while 2(6.6%) in non-pregnantwomenbut with previous abortion. Among these 58 cases about 16 cases was revealed elevated anti-sperm antibody ASA (27.6%). Out of 30 aborted 9 cases were high ASA (30.0%) The sero-prevalence of ASA of study groups according to age groups, just 6 cases of non-pregnant married women (37.6%) of study groups with high ASA were between the age (25-35) years old, while amongaborted married women5(55.6%) frequency of study groups with high concentration were between the age (25-35) years old. Finally concluding that there is a high rate of susceptibility to rubella infection in women with childbearing age in Kirkuk City. Premarital screening for anti-rubella and vaccination of girls could minimize the risk of infection during pregnancy and childbearing period.ASA may be the cause of infertility in female and may be the cause in the increases of the rate of recurrent spontaneous abortion.

The frequency of hypertension and their risk factors among arthritis patients attending rheumatologydepartment in a Al-Zahraa Teaching Hospital in Kut city, Iraq , especially in relation to gender, age, BMI , family history of hypertension, and disease activity score and lipid profile.Thehospital-based casescontrol study was conducted for patients with arthritis patients attending rheumatology departmentfor a period of 2months from the 1 st January to 1 st March 2019. Arthritis patients with hypertension were cases and those without were controls. Among the arthritis patients recruited for this study, 33.3% were males and 66.7% were females. Among these arthritis patients, 25.6%% of male patients were diagnosed with hypertension as opposed to 74.4% of female patients. Majority of arthritis patients were from urban (62.8%%) and rural (37.2%).Hypertension were most prevalent in the age group more than 50 years (62.8%) and least prevalent in the age group 41-50years (0%). The mean HDL, total cholesterol, LDL and VLDL were all higher for arthritis patients with and withouthypertension. There are a significant changes in gender, family history of hypertension, and disease activity score between the study groups (P<0.05).According to the results obtained, the high prevalence of hypertension in the arthritis patients. Hypertension in arthritis patients were still found in old age groups among female. The findings of this study strengthen the case that hypertension is associated with gender, family history of hypertension, and that disease activity score.

Type 2 diabetes is a multifactorial disease and due to a combination of genetic and environmental risk factors. The paper aims to investigate serum preptin, and insulin like growth factor 2 receptor and their role in T2DM patients in a Kirkuk population. The hospital-based cases- control study was conducted for patients with Type 2 diabetes patients that attended of the Diabetic center in K1 Hospital and Consultation Clinic of Kirkuk, and Azadi Teaching Hospital in Kirkuk during the period from March 2021– August 2021 A total of 150 subjects were screened for concentration of preptin, and insulin like growth factor 2 receptor (IGF2R), glucose, and whole blood was estimated for glycated hemoglobin (HbA1C) especially in relation to (age, and gender) from all patients were recorded. Among the Type 2 diabetes patients recruited for this study, serum glucose fasting blood sugar concentration which showed that T2DM patients had average 168.16± 32.69 mg/dl was significantly higher than in control subjects, p < .001, and for HbA1C the average of T2DM patients whose had 9.87± 2.08 % was also significantly different from control group, p < 0.001. preptin levels that the majority of patients with T2DM had the mean of (66.79± 46.67 pg/ml) that was significantly higher than the mean for control group (17.27± 4.05 pg/ml).U = 4759, p < .001. According to IGF_2R levels revealed that the mean for T2DM patients (23.20± 10.95μg/ml) was significantly higher than the mean for control group (5.98± 3.90 μg/ml), U = 4747.5, p < .001. Greater preptin concentrations in recently identified in T2DM subjects recommended that preptin may performance a role in Type 2 Diabetes Millets causation. Soluble IGF2R could directly affect susceptibility to type 2diabetes that influence insulin resistance.

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic malady that has raised levels of blood glucose, which in last, it will cause severe harms to the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, and nerves. In this article trials to investigate the development of the renal and liver disorders among patients with T2DM in a population of Kirkuk city. The hospital-based cases- control study was conducted for patients with T2DM patients that attended the diabetic clinics in Kirkuk during the period from March 2021– to August 2021 and were screened for serum conc. of liver function tests (Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) and Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP)), renal function tests (Creatinine and Urea) especially with (family history of diabetes, & hypertension. Patients recruited for this study, showed serum urea and creatinine significantly more than that in control, p < .001, while for renal glomerular filtration rates significantly lower than that in control group, p < 001. Their kidney disease stage frequencies were significantly different in diabetic patients than in control P< 0.001. Stage (II) was the most frequently stage within the T2DM group (n = 58, 58%), while stage (I) was the most frequently observed category within the control group (n = 28, 56%). The mean of AST for T2DM (30.63± 6.08) was significantly more than that in the control (25.13± 4.32). T2DM reveal significant differences in the mean value (32.51± 8.96) of ALT which was more than the control (20.59± 4.38). The estimation of GFR as soon as possible with testing of urea and creatinine confirms the diagnosis of renal disease and staging of the renal disease. The liver enzymes illustrate in T2DM a significant correlation in comparison to the control group.
