The Compressive Sensing (CS) approach is used for signal or image acquisition. This signal or image must be sparse in basis domains. The CS provides a better reconstruction for sparse signals. It reconstructs the sparse signal at a sampling rate significantly less than the Nyquist rate by using various reconstruction methods. In this paper, the CS idea and watermarking image are combined. The watermarking image is embedded into the CS measurement vectors that are sparse in suitable basis. The watermarked measurement vectors are reconstructed by using three reconstruction algorithms L1 norm minimization (L1 min), Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) and the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit with Partially Known Support (OMP-PKS). L1 min is used for estimating a sparse inverse covariance matrix based on a sample of Identical and Independent Distribution (IID) by using the invariant random variables. The OMP algorithm is used to recover the sparse signal by using some iteration. At each iteration, the maximum correlation between columns of the sensing matrix and the current residual vector is evaluated. The OMP-PKS is also reconstruction algorithm. It provides a prior knowledge about coefficients of the sparse signal, which are some of these coefficients most important than the other coefficients. After the watermarked CS measurements are reconstructed, the watermarking approach uses two decoder algorithms to detect the watermarking image. The different values of the measurement rate M/N and Sparsity rate K/N are taken. So, for each value of M/N and K/N, the PSNR values are separately calculated. The results compare performance of the three reconstruction algorithms L1 min, OMP, and OMP-PKS. Experimental results prove that the OMP-PKS algorithm has a high performance, and better efficiency to reconstruct the watermarked CS measurements, accordingly requiring a lower number of samples than the other two reconstruction algorithms. Also, qualities of the recovered image by using the OMP-PKS algorithm and the extracted watermarking image have a higher accuracy than the other two reconstruction approaches. Also, the OMP-PKS algorithm saves the cost in time and space.
