About Image

Mr. Mohammed Taha holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Power and Thermal Systems, from the University of Mosul, earned in 2009. He further advanced his academic qualifications by obtaining a Master's degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in 2012.

Mr. Taha began his professional career in the private sector and has accumulated over 13 years of experience in the power generation industry. His expertise includes working with both gas and steam turbines—such as the GE 9FA dual-fuel gas turbine, GE C7, and Alstom D-202 steam turbines—as well as with vertical and horizontal dual and triple pressure Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). He has hands-on experience with HRSGs manufactured by Siemens Energy, CMI John Cockerill, Babcock Hitachi, MHPS Dongfang, Wuxi Huaguang, and NEM.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in all phases of power plant operations, from construction and commissioning to maintenance of HRSGs, gas turbines, and steam turbines. Mr. Taha has collaborated with several highly reputable companies, including Mass Group Holding, General Electric, Siemens Energy, and Bureau Veritas.

In November 2024, he joined the Northern Technical University as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Power Mechanics Techniques Engineering, where he continues to contribute his industry experience to academic development.
