The hydraulic structures are one of the important constructions needed in open channel flow to control the water level, one of these hydraulic structures is the sluice gate, which is needed for flow diversion as well as a measurement device in the irrigational channel. Many studies that dealt with gate hydraulic properties and energy dissipation downstream gates as a single opening, while the studies dealt with different opening sluice gates still need to be investigated and deep focusing especially on the operating system. In this study, the hydraulic jump efficiency with the different operating systems and different energy dissipaters systems were studied. The higher average percentage of jump efficiency reached 98.76% when intermediate gates were opened, while the lowest value reached 40.36% when side gates were opened. The intermediate height dissipaters as well as nearer to sluice gate gives the highest value of jump efficiency. The baffle block obstacle type gives the best value of jump efficiency compared with other different types.
