Biography
Marwa Mawfaq Mohamedsheet Al-Hatab is a dedicated academic and researcher
from Ninawa, Iraq, specializing in Medical Instrumentation Engineering and
Biomedical Engineering. With a strong foundation in medical image processing,
artificial intelligence (AI), and deep learning, Marwa has made significant
contributions to the fields of brain imaging and neurodegenerative disease
detection.
She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Instrumentation Engineering at
Northern Technical University in Mosul, Iraq, and pursued her Master's Degree in
Biomedical Engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) in
Italy. During her academic journey, Marwa earned several scholarships and
participated in cutting-edge research related to fMRI, EEG, and cardiac signal
analysis.
Currently, Marwa is a faculty member at Northern Technical University, where she
teaches image processing, signal processing, and advanced medical device
technologies. She has contributed to curriculum development for the Medical
Devices Engineering Department and has been actively involved in research and
training in areas such as healthcare monitoring, AI-based diagnostics, and medical
device innovation.
Her work has been published in leading journals, with a focus on using AI and
machine learning techniques for medical imaging and biomedical signal analysis.
Marwa’s current research is primarily focused on advancing AI-driven diagnostic
systems and exploring innovative solutions for early disease detection using medical
imaging.
Marwa is an enthusiastic member of various scientific committees and international
conferences, contributing to the global exchange of knowledge in medical
engineering and AI applications in healthcare. She is committed to applying her
expertise to improve healthcare systems and contribute to the development of
innovative diagnostic tools.
