Lana Omar Ameen Yadgar earned her Master’s Degree in Communication Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2020 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Sulaymaniyah University in 2011. Her academic background has equipped her with a strong foundation in both electrical and communication engineering, enabling her to contribute to research in these fields. In March 2023, Lana started her current role as an Assistant Lecturer at Northern Technical University in the Technical Engineering College, Kirkuk, within the Electronics and Control Engineering Department. Over the past two years, she has taught several courses and contributed to the academic development of the department. Her research interests focus on advanced topics in Optical Fiber communication, Optical Wireless Communication (OWC), Visible Light Communication (VLC), Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT)
