Lecturer in the Department of Power Mechanics Techniques Engineering, Engineering Technical College of Mosul, Northern Technical University (NTU). Dr. Ammar Hassan Suhail is an academic and researcher, currently serving as the Head of the Power Mechanics Techniques Engineering Department at Engineering Technical College of Mosul, Northern Technical University (NTU) and member of the Scientific and Advisory Services Office at the Technical Engineering College / Mosul.
Ammar Hassan Suhail received his Bachelor's degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering in 2003 from Engineering Technical College of Mosul, Northern Technical University, Mosul, Iraq.
He then continued his studies and obtained a Master's degree in Thermal Techniques Engineering from Engineering Technical College of Baghdad, Middle Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq in 2013.
In 2023, he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Thermal Techniques Engineering from Engineering Technical College of Baghdad, Middle Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq. His doctoral research focused on improving biogas production by increasing the interior surface area of the anaerobic digester.
His academic and research interests include refrigeration and air conditioning, biogas, nanofluids, and computational fluid dynamics. Throughout his career, Dr. Suhail has contributed significantly to this field through his research publications, academic collaborations, and mentoring of students and young researchers. He has participated in graduation projects aimed at advancing heat transfer technology. He has also provided numerous engineering consultations and mechanical investigations in addressing various mechanical engineering problems in most private and public sector organizations.
