A fluid-filled sac inside the ovary is known as an ovarian cyst. Frequently, they have no symptoms. They occasionally cause bloating and may also cause lower back discomfort or lower abdomen pain. Cysts are often not harmful. By causing synthetic steroids to operate negatively on the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, oral contraceptives suppress ovarian activity and ovulation. Cross sectional study was conducted on ovarian cyst patients in Tikrit City in Salah-Eddin province from January to June 2021. A total of 70 women with ovarian cyst disorder participated in this study (all were married) and their age range was from 20 to 40 years old. 50 healthy women were also taken as a control group. Questionnaires were design to ask about age, residence, duration of illness, precipitating factors or aggravating factors, medical history & type of treatment were studied. The most important symptoms affecting ovarian cyst patients are abdominal pain, acnes, nausea, breast pain, irregular period, depression, headache, body hair and dysuria. Most patients were using contraceptives and most of them were using the pill contraceptives. The most important symptoms affecting ovarian cyst patients are abdominal pain, acnes, nausea, breast pain, irregular period, depression, headache, body hair and dysuria.

Endorphins are chemicals naturally produced by the nervous system to manage pain or stress. They are often called “feel-good” chemicals because they act as a pain reliever and happiness booster. The exact mechanism of endorphins can be perceived through development in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and the CNS through two distinct features. The illusion of pain relief in the PNS is produced by beta-endorphins that bind to opioid receptors. In the CNS, mu-opioid receptors are more abundant in descending pain control circuits including the amygdala, mesencephalic reticular formation, periaqueductal gray matter (PAG), and rostral ventral medulla. As for the Endorphins functions, they are found in high concentrations in certain regions of the brain that help in the transmission of pain sensations, breathing, motor activity, secretion of pituitary hormones, and mood. The relationship between the secretion of endorphins and the stimulating adrenal cortex hormone came through behavioral studies that indicated that stress increases the concentrations of endorphins in the blood and brain. With parallel changes in the pain threshold. Histochemical studies suggest that opiates have important relationships with cells that contain noradrenaline and cells that contain dopamine

The present study was designed to show effect of Basma and collegicin on cell division and small nuclei in laboratory rats. In this study, the animals were divided into six main groups with 18 fowl and each group consisted of 3 rats and treated by Basma and collegicin at different dose and period. The results of the present study showed an increase in the rate of induction of small nuclei in rats treated with collegicin compared with control group. The results also showed the role of Naama extract in the reduction of the effect of collegicin. A significant decrease was observed in the induction of small nuclei for the interaction groups between the bacra extract and the Collchicine drug compared to the control group. As for the coefficient of division, the results showed a significant decrease in the coefficient of division of bone marrow cells treated with collegicin compared to the control group. A significant increase was observed in the cell splitting factor in the coagulation groups between the bacra extract and collegicin. It is concluded Collchicine has the ability to form small cores in male rats with significant decrease in the parietal split in the bone marrow cells of male rats.

The objective of study was detecting the phenolic compounds role in treatment of hyperlipidemia. 20 male rats were utilized and divided to the following groups; the first group was given standard pellet diet. The second group was administered (100 mg/kg) triton for one time. The third group (rats with hyperlipidemia) was gaven (100ug/kg) phenolic compounds for 7 days. Fourth group (rats with hyperlipidemia) was gaven (10 mg/kg) Simvastatin for 7 days. The outcomes exhibit significant (P < 0.05) elevated in levels ALT, and AST in triton and simvastatin groups compared with control group. While in fourth group show non-significant (P < 0.05) changes in levels ALT, and AST compare with control group. About the Hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA (HMG-CoA) reductase and aorta diameter, exhibit significant (P < 0.05) elevated in triton group compared with control group. After treatment, HMG CoA reductase and aorta diameter exhibit non-significant (P < 0.05) changes in third and fourth groups compare with control group. It was concluded from current study that L. shawii phenolic compounds has been role in treatment of hyperlipidemia.

Possibility of pregnancy within one year of sexual encounter and contraceptive use. Infertility is classified into two basic types: sterility, which means that there is no possibility of pregnancy at all. Relative infertility or sub-fertility, which means there is an obstacle that prevents pregnancy that should be treated and divides relative infertility into three types, namely primary infertility, secondary infertility, and unexplained infertility. Factors causing infertility associated with females are responsible for (50-40%) of cases, while other factors are attributed to husbands in addition to common causes among females. And males, as well as unexplained causes of infertility. There are multiple reasons causing infertility, including hormonal, hereditary, infectious, anatomical, environmental, etc., these factors have variable affects. The psychological causes of infertility are of great importance as researches have proved that there are many psychological factors that cause women's infertility such as failure of sexual intercourse or to the inability to produce an egg. Failure to fertilize within one year does not mean the women's failure to conceive after this period, since (15-50%) of wives get pregnant after the first year of marriage, and the failure to conceive before the passage of the first year of marriage is not a mark of sterility, so after the first month the pregnancy possibility is (15 -20%) and after the sixth month it is (50-70%), but after the passage of the year, it is (80-90%).

Background: Triton is a non-ionic surfactant that acts to raise or increase intestinal absorption of fat through its emulsification process. It changes the permeability of cell membranes and thus causes cell lysis and increased susceptibility to infection. Antioxidant effects of pomegranate studies have shown that pomegranate seed extract contains compounds with an antioxidant capacity of 2 to 3 times more than green tea. The present study aimed to study the effect of triton on the histological structure of white rabbit liver and to try to get rid of the effects of triton used alcoholic extract pomegranate husks. Methods: Observational and behavioral symptoms were observed in triton-treated animals, such as lack of water and food intake, inactivity in the movement and tremor with diarrhea. Results: The results of the study in the second group (G2), only injected with triton under the peritoneum at a concentration of 0.1mg/kg, showed the histological changes caused by triton in hepatic tissue with negative changes in tissue represented by degeneration of the majority of hepatocytes. In other regions, hepatic cell size swelling, cytoplasm and Kupffer cell numbers were observed, while the inhibitory effect and cellular repair of the histological structure of the studied organ were observed in the (G3) group, injected with triton under the peritoneum and dosed with pomegranate extract at a concentration of 1mg/kg, while no changes in tissue structure were shown. The liver in the fourth group (G4), dosed with pomegranate extract only at a concentration of 1mg/kg, according to the studied concentration compared to the control group (G1). Conclusion: From the results of the present study we can say that the extract of pomegranate husks has an effect in eliminating the effect of Triton as well as in cellular repair of liver tissue.
